Charities
Share £25,000 Award
Charities in the front line of Britain's fight against drug
addictions and inner city deprivation were officially
recognised in June.
Iain Duncan Smith,
former Conservative leader and chairman of the party's new
Social Justice Policy Group, will announce the winners of
this year's Council for Social Justice Awards.
The scheme was set up to promote small charity groups who
often struggle to raise awareness of the crucial role they
play in helping local communities.
One of the winners is The Langdon Foundation in Manchester
which provides support to enable young Jewish adults with
learning difficulties and disabilities to live fulfilled
lives.
