PentaHact is an
innovative and creative provider of services to people with
learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health
problems. Our mission is ‘to provide person-centred support
enabling people to make the most of opportunities in their
community’.
PentaHact is a regionally focused organisation. We provide
services to over 500 people in the London Boroughs of
Barnet, Brent, Waltham Forest, Enfield and Haringey and
across Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
The Asian Respite Service, managed by PentaHact is a new
service being developed after a need was identified by
Asian Carers in Barnet. The Learning Disability Development
Fund is funding this service for a year. The respite
service will offer a tailor made service to each service
user, will offer culturally sensitive support to
individuals, offer support in their home environment and in
the community.
PentaHact has been working closely with Barnet Mencap and
Barnet’s Learning Disability Social Work Team to set up
this service. The service operates from PentaHact’s Head
Office in Finchley and is managed by Stephanie White.
