Qualification servics
TASS UK is one of the largest national Learning Disability Qualification (LDQ) Centres in the UK. TASS UK is able to offer the LDQ award through either City and Guilds or the Open College Network. TASS UK are also able to approve your own induction training programmes or point the way to approved LDQ programmes that you can purchase.
TASS UK works as a 'Train the Trainer' Centre for the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, specialising in training people with learning disabilities to train their own workers.
Training services
TASS UK publishes open learning packs and trainers' packs that provide training to meet the Common Induction Standards in social care. TASS UK also prints and distributes the ARC LDQ Induction Award open learning packs and trainers' packs for people working in the learning disability sector.
Assessment services
TASS UK runs an independent assessment service in induction to social care and in handling medication in social care settings. This assessment service provides an initial, simple and economic way of checking that each worker is safe to practice before they do. TASS UK will provide a certificate for each learner identifying the grade and listing the answers that reached the agreed standard.
